Eyez on Movies (In Theaters and Upcoming)
I apologize for there being no new activity on this site in over a month. I am really trying to get this website organized and figured out. Anyways. The summer is here and the movie season is in full swing. Here is what I think about what's going in in film right now.
Wonder Woman- I haven't seen this quite yet, but I definitely will soon. I'm really looking forward to it, especially since the movie is supposed to be really good. Hopefully I'll like it a lot. Gal Gadot, seems like a pretty good Wonder Woman, at least Batman v Superman.
The Mummy- Even though this is not my first pick for what to see, I will most likely end up watching The Mummy. Another thing I am excited for is Universal Studios' new monster universe. The "Wolf man" idea sounds the most interesting.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul- "The Long Haul" is decidedly the best "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" book, and it doesn't look like it's been done justice in this movie. This just looks like the last few films, except without the fun.
Despicable Me 3- Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? This movie looks so incredibly dumb and idiotic. I am not looking forward to this movie coming out. I will not see this, and I hope no one else does. Don't waste your time.
All Eyez on Me- This is a smaller film that's hitting theaters in a short amount of time, and it actually looks interesting. I'm not really allowed to see these kinds of movies, so I probably won't see it. But it looks good. It has made me interested in Tupac Shakur's music, though.
Spider-Man: Homecoming- This is probably the third time I've forced myself to talk about this movie on here. Surprisingly enough, this movie doesn't seem to be getting a whole lot of hype. The Disney Channel seems pretty excited, though.
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets- I never want to type that out ever again. This movie looks OK, but I'm not that excited. I used to be, but then I found out that this is based off of a book. Originality is very sparse around these parts (excuse the awful joke).
